KTH-professor prisas för sitt arbete

Dan Henningson, professor i strömningsmekanik vid KTH.

Dan Henningson, professor vid mekanikinstitutionen, har tilldelats ett fellowship (APS Fellow) av American Physical Society för hans bidrag inom fysiken.

Motiveringen lyder som följer:

"For pioneering contributions to linear and nonlinear hydrodynamic stability and numerical simulations of transitional and turbulent flows, including in-depth understanding of the concept of receptivity, bypass transition and flows over complex surfaces, as well as feedback control o these flows."

American Physical Society är en organisation med 50 000 medlemmar över hela världen. Organisationens syfte är att sprida och utveckla kunskap om fysik.
