Hello,
After a looong trip through Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Holland we have finally reached Rotterdam. It is a beautiful city and all team members are having a good time. Upon arrival to Ahoy! (the place where the competition shall take place) we registered and recieved some nice caps, a shirt and some information about the next following days. We started working on the car right away as we had some trouble with the kill switch. This was crutial in order for us to come to the technical safety control which has to be done before any cars are allowed to enter the race track.
We also decorated the car with sponsor stickers and fixed up the car so it passes the test. We were hoping to make the technical exam today, but unfortunately when we arrived at 16.30 we were told that the line is too long and that they cannot do this but we would have to come back tomorrow where we were placed as car nr.7 to be examed.
At 14.00 Maria, Nicoline and Mikael went to the mandatory briefing meeting that team managers and drivers should attend. At the meeting topics such as safety on the paddock and on track was discussed as well as planning for the next few days. A lot of competitors showed up! See the photo below. Also is a picture of the team members in the nice team sweaters, we are for sure the most well dressed team!
Tomorrow we will make the technical inspection, and thereafter we will hopefully be able to test drive Spiros on the track to make any necessary changes that need to be made to optimize the performance.
