Venture Cup is the best competitions in Sweden for those who want to realize your dreams and start your own business. In one of my old posts Venture Cup – put your business idea to the test! said that I have submitted my business idea to the competition. Tonight was the ceremony for the winners! Unfortunately I did not win but it was definitely a very good experience: I have learned a lot from the competition while I am trying to make a business plan. Meanwhile, I got great professional feedback which made me to learn more and had a different point of view.
There are two group of winners from KTH! I am so proud of them and happy for them. I did not ask them personally if they had asked for help from KTH but I am pretty sure that KTH provides the best environment to help with all kinds of new ideas when they need it.
Just so you know, KTH has an innovation department supports the commercialization of ideas and research results from KTH´s researchers and students. No matter where you come from and what you study, as long as you have the innovation idea and study at KTH, you will get the support in all stages of the development from a research result or idea to marketable product or service.
The ceremony was really interesting and fun. Get to know some new friends with more ideas. Maybe next year you will have the chance to be there as well! Take the good opportunity when you have new ideas. Make the chance of turning your dream come true!
