Research interests
My main research interests include degradation of polyesters for tissue engineering and packaging application, and especially mass spectrometry techniques for characterizing the low molar mass products formed during degradation.
I am also interested in research in areas of interdisciplinary science of complex phenomena that are dependent on human perception and/or interpretation. This includes, for example, odor perception to determine the quality of plastic materials or the influence of polymeric building materials on perceived indoor air quality.
