Education in Signal Processing
Courses in Signal Processing and Communication Theory
The Signal Processing Lab collaborates with the Communication Theory Lab on education in the signal processing and communication areas. Fourteen undergraduate courses are given every year and most of them are at Master level. The fundamentals on signals and systems are provided by the basic courses, while comprehensive knowledge of digital and wireless communications, estimation and filtering, information theory and coding can be achieved by our advanced courses.
Master’s Degree Projects in Signal Processing and Communication Theory
Approximately 25 Master’s Degree Projects are completed annually in our area. We offer fun and challenging internal projects, which may solve theoretical problems as well as being more practically oriented. It is also possible to conduct Master’s Degree Projects in collaboration with companies.
The Signal Processing Lab offers a highly competitive PhD program aimed at well-motivated students. We can provide a platform for a successful career in industrial R&D, academics, as well as high-tech "start-up" businesses. Our graduates are highly sought after upon graduation.
