KTH School of Electrical Engineering,Electrical Machines and Power Electronics Dmitry Svechkarenko has studied electrical engineering at the Kyrgyz Institute of Technology (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), where he received his BSc degree in 2002. From 2002 to 2004, he has been studying electrical engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology. He received his MSc degree in 2004. In 2004, Dmitry Svechkarenko joined the department of Electrical Machines and Power Electronics at the Royal Institute of Technology as a PhD student. He received his Lic. Tech. degree in 2005. D. Svechkarenko's research aims at the development a cost-effective direct-driven generator in the multi megawatt class for future offshore wind farms. The analyzed generator utilizes a novel transverse flux topology invented by Prof. Chandur Sadarangani. | |
