Automatic Control Morten Strandberg was born 1973 in Trondheim, Norway, and received the M.Sc. degree in from the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH in 1997. In the same year he joined the Department of Solid Mechanics at the Royal Institute of Technology, from which he 2000 received a licentiate degree. The title of the thesis was "Fracture at V-notches - computational and experimental aspects". In the same year he joined the Automatic Control Group at the Royal Institute of Technology. In October 2004, he successfully defended his PhD thesis: Robot Path Planning: An Object-Oriented Approach. His opponent was Prof. Steven LaValle, University of Illinois. | |
