Research at Electrical Energy Conversion
E2C is a part of the KTH School of Eletrical engineering. Our research is mainly centered around electrical machines and drives, power electronics and their control, as well as electric traction.
Applications
- Industrial drives, e.g. pumps and fans, pulp and paper, tools, etc.
- Electric traction, e.g. trains, hybrid electric vehicules, plug-in electric vehicules, etc.
- Power generation, e.g. wind turbine generators, converters for photo voltaics, etc.
- Power transmission and distribution, e.g. FACTS (flexible AC transmission systems), HVDC, etc.
