Research at EPS
The main part of the research aims at developing methods and models to be used in analysis, planning, and operation of electric power systems. Most of the work is carried out in interaction with industry or is inspired by problems and phenomena occurring in real systems. By utilizing fundamental tools such as mathematics, control- and system-theory, and optimization theory, the research has a general and basic profile aiming at gaining insight and understanding of the studied problems and at providing tools for solving these problems.
