Pontus Johnson, Professor of Industrial Information and Control Systems belives that KTH should develop new methods, and tested a completely new teaching materials, an e-book on System architecture containing filmed sequences.

  • Examensarbete: Konstruktion av en testmiljö för IT-säkerhet och utvärdering av penetrationsverktyg

    Sårbarheter informationsteknologi är ett påtagligt och stort problem idag. Tusentals nya mjukvarusårbarheter upptäcks varje år och konfigurationsfel med säkerhetspåverkan är vanligt förekommande i de flesta verksamheter. Detta examensarbete syftar till att: (1) Bygga upp en testmiljö bestående av system som innehåller realistiska och representativa sårbarheter. (2) Att praktiskt utvärdera penetrationsverktyg (t.ex. Metasploit) i denna testmiljö. Ersättning om 30.000 kronor utbetalas för ett godkänt examensarbete. Den sista dagen för ansökan är 2012-07-02, vilket görs via epost till hannesh@ics.kth.se (vänligen inkludera CV, betygsutdrag samt en kort beskrivning av din kompetens och tidigare erfarenhet inom IT-säkerhetsområdet).   • KTH arranges seminar on cyber security for critical infrastructure

    On Tuesday the 14th of February KTH is arranging an open seminar on security in industrial control systems. The seminar summarizes the results from the recently completed VIKING (Vital Infrastructure, NetworKs, INformation and Control System ManaGement), a project that has been founded by the EU.
