Course Development Funding
The E2DOC Program committee offers course development funds in order to encourage quality improvement of courses, and also cooperation, rationalization and broadening of horizons. Another goal is more generalized courses.
Course development funds will be awarded on three standard levels:
200 kSEK for development of a completely new course
100 kSEK for a thorough updating and revision of an existing course
X k SEK for normal annual uppdating of an existing course.
Where X will be decided on an ongoing basis. At present, X=25.
Course development fund may be applied for at any time during the year.
For a course to be eligible, it must have at least 3 participants, scheduled classroom instruction and definitive outcome (project or exam, for example or similar construct )
Funds must be applied for before the course is given.
The application should include:
- Description of the course being developed and/or what changes are envisioned.
- If it is a new course, use the template for establishment of New Courses (info for Kopps).
- When the course is planned to start and how frequently it will be given.
Send this information to Kathy Hammar, who will take it to the next meeting of the E2DOC Program Committee.
If funds are approved, they will be disbursed:
- After the course is completed
- When a class list and
- a course analysis has been submitted (use the template)
- at the latest, two years after the application has been approved
