Goal and activities
It is a goal of Cefin to develop educational programs and to integrate research with education at all levels within its field of activity. Cefin arranges or participates in other institutions’ or universities’ educational programs to provide courses and training activities with sufficient scope and specialization.
Bachelors and Masters Programmes
A brand new Bachelors programme started the autumn term of 2006 at the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at the Royal Institute of Technology. This education is specificly directed to students who wants to work in the field of Real Estate Economy or in the Financial sector. Autumn 2011 a new bachelors programme started which focuses on Real Estate Development and Real Estate Brokerage.
Post Graduate Studies
Cefin’s research focuses on the interface between buyers and sellers in the financial system. The interface involves research from many different academic disciplines, and Cefin is consequently a multi-disciplinary research centre.
At present there are circa 20 active PhD Students connected to Cefin.

Vocational Education on the Academic Level
Cefin conducts specialized higher education and seminars for employees in the financial sector.

High School Education
With the help of Cefin a special education program in financial economics was started at the High School in Botkyrka in the autumn term of 2003. It is also the aim to develop methods and models to determine how the integration between universities and high schools can be made more effective and to facilitate and encourage the transition to higher studies.
