Cefin’s research focuses on the interface between buyers and sellers in the financial system. The interface involves research from many different academic disciplines, and Cefin is consequently a multi-disciplinary research centre. The Interface between Bank-, Finance- and Insurance companies and their Customers
Focus lies on the interaction between bank-, finance- and insurance companies and their customers.
Business Models of Finance- and Insurance companies
Here a discussion is held on analysis of credit risks, sustainability of councelling and business models and the development of local economies.
The research identifies, among other things, how the development of societies is associated to the the banks’ business models due to the fact that these models controls how well the bank succeeds to engage a productive dialogue with the customers and develop resources in the surrounding society.
Sustainable Financial Infrastructure
The researchers are here investigating the infrastructure for payments and handling of risk as well as the ability of the financial system to cope with larger demographic and economical changes.
Real Estate and Finance
Research is conducted within the fields; pricing, market analysis, driving forces behind housing consumers interest rate decisions and housing financing in developing countries.
