    In the 2013 edition of the Swedish University rankings Urank KTH is still the best university in Sweden for engineers. KTH has also climbed from seventh to fourth place in the overall rankings. Chalmers loses three places and ends up on sixth place this year.

    This year's winner of the Future Female Leader Award, FFLA, is Emma Olofsson. The award is handed out for the tenth year in a row, to the most prominent female technologist at KTH. Besides the honour, the winner gets to design her own 18-month trainee programme, dividing the time between three of the eight partnering companies.

    Working with space is a dream for many - a dream that can seem remote and out of reach. However, the members of the RAIN project group are in the middle of realising their space dream. In March of next year, they will send an experiment up into space. By then, the 16 members will have worked on the project for 18 months, encountered both setbacks and successes and had experiences such as visiting the European Space Agency.
