Alumnus of the Year 2012

KTH’s 75 000 alumni make a real difference across the globe in a variety of ways. They challenge conventions with insight and creativity and KTH would like to celebrate the important work our alumni carry out by presenting the Alumni of the Year Award. This year the Alumni of the Year award goes to Christer Fuglesang F-75.
Christer Fuglesang holds the distinction of being Sweden’s first astronaut and is an inspiration and role model for our students and alumni all around the world. Christer Fuglesang is being honored as Alumnus of the Year in recognition of his continuous personal commitment to KTH and our students over the years. His tremendous achievements have shown that studying at KTH can take you a long way – even into outer space.
