Welcome to the Division of Energy processes
Energy research with chemical engineering approach from a system perspective
The activities at the Division of Energy Processes are concentrated on energy conversion processes. The aim is to develop environmentally friendly and energy efficient processes from a system point of view by using knowledge in chemical engineering and thermodynamics.
The research is focused on five main areas:
Energy systems
Rational use of bio-fuels
Fuel cell systems
Sorption cooling processes and thermal energy storage
Advanced power cycles
