Danica Kragic, will be appointed Honorary doctor In the Ceremonial Conferment of Doctoral Degrees at Lappeenranta University of Technology on 7-8 June 2012.
An honorary doctorate is a title awarded by the university as a tribute to an especially accomplished person. An honorary doctorate at Lappeenranta University of Technology may be granted in order to attract top Finnish or international researchers or other highly accomplished persons into the university community.
In the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony, LUT will appoint honorary doctors; seven distinguished Finnish persons and eight distinguished international cooperation partners.
