Courses at PhD level at CSC, general information

The program curriculum states the number of course credits included in the program. Please note that this number often is stated in old course credits, where 1 old credit = 1,5 new credits (ECTS credits or hp).

All third cycle courses are found in the KTH Course and program directory.
Most third cycle courses are not actually taught using scheduled lectures etc. They are instead taken on an individual basis according o the individual study plan for each student and in agreement with the teacher.
The first number in the course code states the cycle of the course. So all third cycle (doctoral) courses have a 3 as the first number, e.g. DD3001. So you will find all third cycle courses in computer science by searching for DD3 in the KTH Course and program directory.

For updated lists of doctoral courses given at CSC, please see the lists the individual CSC doctoral programs provide at their respective web pages.
