    Academic Resource Centre, ARC, inaugurated with a great fanfare at the KTH Library. At ARC, the students are able to develop their skills in subjects such as math, academic writing and information retrieval, but also get tips and advice in study skills and career coaching.

    Sweden received high praise when the International Energy Agency (IEA) presented its report on Swedish energy policy at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). However, Lennart Söder, Professor of Electric Power Systems at KTH, points out that the uncertainty surrounding nuclear power and whether or not old reactors will be replaced – and if so, when – must be taken into consideration.

    Both the academia and the industry would benefit from greater interaction. That was everybody at the kick-off agreeing on. – We didn't have much contact with companies during our studies, which was a pity, said Catarina Åberg, an alumnus from Stockholm University and one of the speakers during the kick-off for the NOTIS-project.
