The Language Café is up to full speed!

The KTH Language Café is up to full speed. The Language Café is organised by the Unit for Language and Communication, part of the ECE School. Everyone with an interest in and a passion for languages is welcome to the Language Café at the KTH Library.

We create visualizations

Learning Lab ICT at the ECE School have an active production unit and we provide assistance with everything from video recording, live broadcasts and production of visualizations. By using 3D, motion graphics and digital compositing we can create learning objects that make it possible to understand complex processes or to show things that cannot be seen with the naked eye. Below is one example:

On Friday the 23rd of September the ForskarFredag (The Scientist's Friday) was arranged on three different location in the Stockholm area: Debaser Medis at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm, at Tom Tits in Södertälje and KTH Flemingsberg.

A warm welcome to the autumn 2011 ECE seminar series: ICT in the teaching & learning process

The seminars aim to enhance and support teachers and program leaders at KTH in their work with program and course development and quality assurance of engineering education, and all interested in the use of ICT in teaching and learning are welcome.

Math coach online

Mattecoach Online (Math coach online) is a service where young people can talk about Math and get help with their homework from student teachers through Windows Live Messenger. Mattecoach is now a part of the House of Science.

Netbased Learning in higher education

Learning Lab IKT have conduced an interview with Stefan Hrastinski, Associate Professor in Media Technology at KTH. The interview is conduced in Swedish.

Discovery System

KTH Library provides a wide range of scientific information resources, both printed and electronic, both commercial as well as freely available. These are made available both internally and externally in the form of bibliographic databases, full text databases, books, journals, dissertations, reports, and patents etc.
