Micro and Nanosystems

Welcome to the webpage of Micro and Nanosystems (MST) at the KTH School of Electrical Engineering.

The MST group focuses on Micro- and Nanoelectromechanical Systems (MEMS/NEMS), and their applications. We recently changed our name from Microsystem Technology to Micro and Nanosystems to reflect the fact that much of our research concerns nanoscale structures and components.

Education

At MST we provide courses in Measurement and Microsystems Technology. We offer project courses and master thesis projects for undergraduate students and welcome graduate students to join our group for post graduate education.

Research

The research at Micro and Nanosystems is centred around Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS) and its applications in the medical (MedMEMS), biotechnology (BioMEMS), optical components (OptoMEMS) and radio frequency signal components (RFMEMS) fields.
