KTH-Berkeley collaboration leads to IEEE best paper award

Carlo Fischione, an assistant professor with the Automatic Control Laboratory at EES, KTH, received the best paper award from IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics.
As part of a team of five researchers from KTH and Berkeley, Carlo Fischione co-authored a paper on “System level design for clustered wireless sensor networks”. This paper was recognized as the best paper published in the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics of the year 2007.
Carlo Fischione is involved in research on wireless sensor networks and networked control at the Automatic Control Laboratory. In 2007 he was awarded a junior faculty grant from the Swedish Research Council.
