The Life Science Technology Platform

Creativity, impact, and excellence are the key words for KTH when forming the platforms. These will be a distinctive addition to KTH with the objectives to create a concerted approach to tackling the world’s great challenges, orientated towards the future and social needs in an international perspective. The platforms are owned by KTH and driven internally, but have also an external strategic outlook on collaboration and funding.

The initiative with the Platform will lead to intensified future funding intelligence and support for complex applications. Furthermore, the Platform will facilitate interaction with the industry. Innovation processes, including transfer of research and development results, will be promoted in a more effective way with help from the platform structure. In the Platform there is a support team with the coordinator leading the overall work in the Platform.
