The Material and Energy platforms visited China
The Material Platform made together with the Energy Platform a journey to China in February 2012. The aim was to establish contacts between KTH and important Chinese actors. In Beijing, the delegates visited Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Tsinghua University. Then the journey continued to Jiao Tong University in Shanghai. In Shanghai, the delegates could choose between visiting the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility and the Shuzhou Science Park. The last stop on the journey for most delegates was the city Hangzhou and Zhejiang University. For some delegates, the trip continued to other universities in e.g. Hefei. The delegates were during all visits very well treated and hosted and valuable contacts were established with the different hosting organisations.
