Majid Mohseni had been doing research in magnetic sensors before he came to KTH to continue his PhD subject in spintronics. Now he has defended his PhD thesis “Spin valves and spin-torque oscillators with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy”.
Meet Urban Westergren who is promoted to professor in the field optoelectronic integrated circuits. He is also deputy director for international affairs with China regarding education, which means alot of trips to China, to visit different universities there.
Augustinas and Kristijonas Vizbaras from Lithuania took their Masters degree from the Nanotechnology program at School of ICT in 2009. Together with their brother Dominykas Vizbaras they started Brolis Semiconductors in 2011. Less than a year later they received the Young Entrepreneur of the year award at Swedish business awards in Vilnius.
After taking a Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering in Mumbai, India Srinivasan Shankararaman Iyer came to KTH to follow up with a Masters in Photonics. Now he is a graduated PhD in Microelectronics and Applied Physics.
