iPack ready to launch their third phase

PhD Jian Chen
Published Mar 14, 2013Jian Chen from China came to School of Information and Communication Technology for PHD studies after master studies at Fudan university in Shanghai. Now he has defended his PhD thesis "Low Noise Oscillator in ADPLL toward Direct-to-RF All-digital PolarTransmitter" and is excited to make his research useful in the industry.

Mohammed Hamid in the area of Cognitive radio and opportunistic spectrum access

After that he came to KTH for PhD studies in the area of cognitive radio and dynamic spectrum access. Now he has defended his licentiate thesis On Finding Spectrum Opportunities in Cognitive Radios: Spectrum Sensing and Geo-locations Database.

KTH has built the world's smallest optical disk resonator

School of ICT alumni awarded at Swedish business awards
Published Nov 06, 2012Augustinas and Kristijonas Vizbaras from Lithuania took their Masters degree from the Nanotechnology program at School of ICT in 2009. Together with their brother Dominykas Vizabaras they started Brolis Semiconductors in 2011. Less than a year later they received the Young Entrepreneur of the year award at Swedish business awards in Vilnius. We have asked Augustinas Vizbaras a few questions about the prize and what he and his brothers are doing now.

PhD Feng Zhang

New Associate Professor: Jan Markendahl
Published Jun 05, 2012Jan Markendahl came to KTH from the industry nine years ago to work as a project manager within the research at Wireless@KTH. He thrived in the academic world and therefore chose to stay and take a doctoral degree in order to make it through the academy. Since 1st of June 2012 he is now Associate Professor in Wireless Infrastructure Deployment and Economics.
