KTH Innovation hires entrepreneurial students
KTH Innovation arranges Summer of Innovation 2012, a summer program where entrepreneurial students are matched with commercial ideas from KTH researchers.
What is it?
Teams of 1-2 students will spend at least 6 weeks on a researched based project with the objective to commercially advance the idea. KTH Innovation will reimburse them an amount equal to the student loans and grants (SEK 8920 per month).
Between 5 and 10 projects will be selected and, depending on the need of each project, between 5 and 15 students.
Who should apply?
We are looking for students who demonstrate excellent communication skills, technical understanding, commercial sense and interest in entrepreneurship.
What kind of work will I do?
The typical project will include searching for, proposing or verifying the commercial potential of a high-tech idea typically in an early stage of commercialization. Specific tasks might be market overviews, customer contacts, mapping of surrounding technology/competition and prototyping.
