Short Bio
Stephen is a professional marketer with a number of years’ experience across a diverse range of sectors from engineering, to public relations, to education. As an engineer in his early days he worked in both the electronics and telecommunications sectors and quickly established management success within Nokia and AT&T.
He cut his technology teeth on black box flight recording equipment and specialised in magnetic tape storage solutions, latterly moving his specialism to ‘solid state’ storage.
After a number of years, he moved into the entertainment sector working in both TV & Film production companies and coupled this work with becoming a licensed croupier and working in casino management for a large brand.
These days Stephen trains, facilitates and educates young and old professionals in marketing and management. He incorporates new techniques and challenges old ones in the programmes that he runs. As a fully qualified teacher and trained actor, he has been fortunate enough to have achieved success within both the education and consultancy arena.
His own education is continually evolving and demonstrates his thirst for knowledge and his interest in a wide range of different subjects; not only in academia but in other areas of life eg: time spent self-teaching water based activity skills (boating/navigation/surfing skills) and personal goals such as undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge with a group of like-minded friends.
Lively and enthusiastic, Stephen brings something very different to consultancy and training based on his own experiences and education over the years. Still keen to learn, he has set himself a number of different goals and the challenge of attaining his PhD is the first of these.
Although he is a very unconventional trainer, his underlying desire is always to help his students and client organisations achieve the very best that they can.
