New research program on sustainable financial systems

The research programme Putting Financial Systems to Work for Sustainability has ben awarded MSEK 30 over four years for research on how financial systems can better contribute to the sustainable development of society. The research is funded by Mistra, The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research.The Mistra Financial Systems programme will be hosted by Misum at Stockholm School of Economics in collaboration with the Swedish House of Finance, CESIS at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, Stockholm Environment Institute, London School of Economics, the ICMA Centre at Henley Business School and Statistics Sweden. The CESIS researcher that participate in the programme are professor Hans Lööf and associate professor Gustav Martinsson in collaboration with Christian Thomann at the unit Entrepreneurship and Innovation at INDEK. Peter Norman, former minister of financial markets, will chair the programme.
