The Göran Gustafsson Prizes - the highest national awards for scientific research - are considered the most coveted and prestigious awards among young Swedish scientists. The 2010 prize winner in mathematics is Pär Kurlberg.
From the prize announcement: "for his contributions to the border area between dynamical systems and number theory. Especially, he has successfully made use of number theoretic methods to achieve interesting results in quantum chaos. These techniques have also led to new advances in the classical theory of uniform distribution in number theory".
