Basic and specific eligibility and prerequisites for Technology and Helath

Eligibility for graduate studies in technology and health are graduating at an advanced level with
completion of course requirements of at least 240 credits, including 60 credits at an advanced
level. The earlier degree must have been completed within a technological or medical faculty. For
the topic of Structural Biotechnology an exam from the faculty of natural sciences is also eligible.
For the subjects of Injury Prevention and Ergonomics the degree can also be completed in the
behavioral sciences, health sciences, natural sciences or social sciences faculty. General admission
is also for those in Sweden or abroad, has acquired the equivalent knowledge.
Special competence is required for subjects in the qualifying degree that meets the student’s
planned research projects and the necessary English skills needed for the student to be able to
benefit from compulsory English literature and to draft and, if necessary, defend his thesis in
English.

Eligibility for graduate studies in applied medical engineering are graduating at an advanced level

advanced level. The earlier degree must have been completed within a technological or medical
faculty. For the topic of Structural Biotechnology an exam from the faculty of natural sciences is
