A range of scholarships and tuition fee waivers are available for applicants to KTH master's programmes who are liable to pay tuition fees.
KTH tuition fee waivers
A tuition fee waiver means that no money is paid to the student but the tuition fee will be waived for the total length of the programme. Living costs will need to be covered by the student.

A limited number of tuition fee waivers will be available for Master students attending part of a Master’s programme at KTH from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries who are required to pay tuition fees.

Scholarships
Scholarships can be financed by various sources, such as the Swedish state, The European Union or other organisations in cooperation with KTH. The scholarships can cover parts of or the total tuition fee and/or living costs. The requirements and selection critierias vary.
The Foundation of Engineer Ernst Johnson
KTH is for the first time granting full scholarships from The Foundation of Engineer Ernst Johnson (Stiftelsen Ingenjör Ernst Johnsons fond). The scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the programme and also include a monthly allowance for living costs.
10 scholarships are available autumn 2013 for students from non-EU/EEA/EFTA countries who apply for a Master’s programme at KTH. The selection process is based on academic excellence.

There are a number of different scholarships available through the Swedish Institute, SI, for students wishing to study a Master's programme in Sweden. The scholarships are administered through SI.

Erasmus Mundus master's programmes
KTH offers a number of Erasmus Mundus master's programmes in cooperation with partner universities. Applicants to the programmes can apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, including tuition fee waiver as well as a monthly allowance for living costs.
EIT master's programmes
KTH offers a number of master's programmes within EIT - European Institute of Innovation and Technology - in cooperation with partner universities. The programmes offer excellent scholarship opportunities.
Chinese Scholarship Council
Chinese citizens can be eligible for one of the scholarships offered by the Chinese Scholarship Council, CSC. They offer a limited number of scholarships for studies at selected KTH master's programmes.
