KTH and China
“A vision of a better future, through global collaboration and innovation.”
The quote above is from Vice President for International Affairs, Professor Ramon Wyss, explaining the unique exchange between KTH and China’s brightest minds. This partnership is not new. For over a decade now, KTH has worked closely with China’s top academics, researchers and universities to lead the way in critical fields such as engineering, biotechnology and sustainable development.

KTH's partner universities
KTH is currently partnered with eleven elite universities in China and has ten Chinese professors at our home in Stockholm. Our bonds between some of our partners, however, go even further back than the last decade.
KTH's Professor Börje Johansson, for instance, once taught the current President of Tsinghua University, Gu Binglin, and is currently an honorary professor at Tsinghua. Binglin is a leading scientist of condensed matter physics and an important voice in a newly energized and rapidly developing China.
KTH also shares six research institutes with China and submits a large number of joint research publications every year, the highest number in Sweden.
