Research prototype projects
Research Concept Vehicle is a novel project started 2012 aiming at achieving a modular concept vehicle for research implementation in a first version rolling 2013. We involve researchers at KTH and industry to implement research results in a concept vehicle. A mix of students, researchers and staff scientists run this project.
Smart Mobility Lab is a model-based "Vehicle platooning" lab. The research covers control-aspects for platooning of vehicle and semi-autonomous vehicle tests. Smart Mobility Lab/Demonstration of Vehicle platooning
There are also other projects where Transport Labs is involved, such as externally initiated technology demonstrations that need an academic partner.
Student oriented projects
KTH Eco Car is a yearly student oriented project where the aim is to develop a competition car for the Shell Eco Marathon competition. Each year some 40 students are involved and have been developing and competing with two cars.
