Energy efficiency - the focus of an EU network of excellence
A new European Network takes up the challenge of increasing the energy efficiency in photonic applications. Gathering nanophotonic experts in Europe this network clusters nine different institutions in six European countries and comprises of 130 scientists, engineers, technicians and managers in nanophotonics. They are going to focus on energy efficient light harvesting (e.g. solar cells) and light generation (e.g. light emitting diodes). Srinivasan Anand is the partner coordinator for KTH.
KTH participates in a Nordic project on a new type of solar cell
A Nordic research project – NANORDSUN – is developing a new type of solar cell based on semiconductor nanowires. The consortium consists of academic and industrial partners located in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Associate Professor Srinivasan Anand is the partner coordinator for KTH.

Forskning vid Språk och kommunikation
At the Unit for Language and Communication we conduct research in two basic areas: language use in the increasingly multilingual Swedish university environment and computer-assisted language learning. Our research is governed by a desire to make maximum use of our KTH environment.
