ADOPT-days
ADOPT Day is an annual one-day event that gathers all ADOPT members from all branches under one roof where they, most importantly, can enjoy seminars by their peer researchers on their latest achievements, and mingle with other center members. The event is usually finished with a dinner retreat sponsored by ADOPT.

ADOPT Day 2012 is organized in conjunction with the Optics and Photonics Day. It will be held at KTH-AlbaNova University Center. The ADOPT day includes talks, a poster session and workshops and dinner with social activities. Ph.D. students are encouraged to advertise their research via a poster.
Registration (by 2012-10-12): mandatory and should be done by e-mail to Therese Olofsson (therese.olofsson@biox.kth.se) with the following information:

IMPORTANT: If you plan to attend both Fototnik-dagarna and ADOPT day, you will need to register separately to both events. The poster session will be held jointly. If a student only attends ADOPT-dagen then they should notify Therese that they will present a poster. If they want to attend both days, then they need also to send an abstrac of the poster to O & F-dagen.

The ADOPT day 2011 will be held at KTH in Kista on October 21. The invited talks and student presentations will take place at the auditorium C1 in Electrum between 9 AM and 5 PM. The day will finish with dinner and bowling at O’Leary’s Bowling in Kista Galleria.

You are all invited to the annual event, ADOPT Day, which will be held on 21st October 2010 in Room FD5, Albanova, Stockholm. Please find the attached preliminary programme. In order to facilitate the organisation, you are requested to register prior to 15.00 on 13th October 2010. All the events are free for the ADOPT members but registration is mandatory. In the event of no turn-up after registration, the concerned person (not the department) will be charged 1000 SEK.
