Wireless Foresight 2001-2008 a review. And Vision 2020
The Wireless Foresight Seminar held on January 26 attracted many visitors from academia and industry.
The purpose was to review the earlier Foresight and to outline the foresight for the year 2020.
The Wirelss@kth center director Prof Jens Zander held the introductory statement.
The invited speakersd gave their visions for 2020 on:
o Mobile Lifestyle and Context Based Services
o The “internet of things”
o Society and Regulation
o Privacy and Security
o Future Network Architecture and Technologies
o Services and Economics

”Mobila tjänster driver dagens trådlösa utveckling” - Det hävdade professor William Webb en av talarna under The 2009 Wireless Foresight Seminar i Kista.
– Inom de närmaste 10-15 åren kommer de mobila tjänsterna att stå för den viktigaste delen av utvecklingen. Betydelsen av nya generationer av nätverk, eller tillgången till ännu högre bandbredd i näten, kommer inte alls att vara lika stor som tidigare, säger William Webb.
