Opening Event

Sweden has become one of the world's leading countries for manufacturing of powertrains for heavy vehicles. To stay competitive, the heavy vehicle manufacturing industry is dependent on research, development and training resources at highest international levels. Therefore, the German research organization Fraunhofer, the KTH Royal Institute of Technology and RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden, have established the "Powertrain Manufacturing for Heavy Vehicles Application Lab" (PMH Application Lab).

A grand opening event will be held to bring together all stakeholders as well as representatives from the heavy vehicle industry, academia, authorities, media and politics.
