AIMday® Sustainable Solutions for Cities 2013

AIMday® Sustainable Solutions for Cities is a unique opportunity for academic scientists and industry representatives to make contacts and exchange knowledge related to sustainable solutions for cities.

May 15, 2013 KTH Campus at Valhallavägen, Stockholm

With a rapidly growing urban population, cities and surrounding areas are facing major challenges. Due to the concentration of production and consumption activities, cities contribute to a large part of the global emissions of greenhouse gases and to air and water pollution. At the same time, cities offer great opportunities to implement new innovations and solutions that can contribute to the transformation to become more sustainable in the future.

A fruitful collaboration between academia and the business sector will stimulate sustainable solutions beneficial to society and at the same time creating business potential for Swedish companies.

The coming AIMday addresses the future city with special focus on:

  • Architecture and urban design
  • Production and consumption
  • Energy efficiency
  • Waste, re-use and recycling
  • IT-solutions in all sectors

The unique AIMday format - a question, an hour, a group of experts - has proven successful in finding useful contacts, collaborations, and new paths towards solving concerns of companies and organizations alike.

Registration for companies and public organizations is now closed. A list of all questions posed by companies and organizations is now published at the website

Registration for academic scientists is now open. Deadline for registration is April 10. To register for at least one question is your entrance ticket to take part in AIMday.

Participation in AIMday is free of charge.
