Joao Frederico Pinto Basto De Carvalho

I am a PhD student at KTH, where I work with Danica Kragic and Florian Pokorny  on applications of algebraic topology and differential geometry to robotics.

I obtained both my bachelors and masters degrees from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST, Lisbon, Portugal) where I wrote my thesis on sheaf theory.

After graduating I worked as a researcher for ISR where I worked on structural control theory with Sérgio Pequito and Pedro Aguiar.
