Learning outcomes

To provide the participants with a general introduction to automotive fuel cell systems.

Course main content

The main focus of the course will be on fuel cell technology, fuel processing including gas cleaning and membranes, system integration, fuels and logistics, development cost and risk capital, simulation and modelling. The lecturers have been selected from both industry and academia to ensure a broad perspective of the subject area. The speakers are all experts in their field and have been selected from major universities and automotive companies in Europe. The course is a co-operation between Chalmers Unviersity of Technology and Volvo Technology Corporation.

Eligibility

Master of Science in engineering or corresponding knowledge.

Literature

Reference textbook and relevant scientific papers.

Examination

1 written examination, group assignments and oral presentations in English.
