Learning outcomes
The goal of the Degree Project is to practice the skills acquired in the program:
- Working methods suitable in engineering science
- Documentation of the project work
- Oral presentation of the project work
Course main content
The project must focus on some problem area within the specialization.
The project work is to be documented in a technical report. Independent analysis and conclusions are important parts of the report.
Two collaborating students normally do the work for a company.
A study of literature is often part of the project work in order to present current knowledge in the problem domain for the project.
Eligibility
The Degree Project is normally performed during the final semester of the studies. The student should have 120 credits from courses in the program and should have passed the courses relevant for the project.
