Learning outcomes

Outcomes to receive an E grade:

Upon completion of the course, students will:

Describe the mode of action of reinforced concrete
Demonstrate basic knowledge of reinforcement steel
Demonstrate basic knowledge of formwork
Possess basic knowledge of the parameters that influence concrete strength and workability
Possess basic knowledge of exposure classes for concrete structures
Be able to choose the environmental classification of simple concrete structures 
Be able to design a cross section of singly reinforced concrete  
Display basic knowledge of reinforcement documents
Understand parameters related to drying and hardening times of concrete
