Professor Hallock is an internationally known expert on the natural historian William Bartram and his current work engages spatial/geographic theory in relation to early America. You can read a bit more about him and his work here: www.usfsp.edu/vva/thomas-hallock/

He will be in Sweden to present a keynote at a workshop in Uppsala on 27-28 March, “New World Nation Building: The Bartrams, Linnaeus, and Transatlantic Natural History.” His talk with us at KTH is sponsored by the Division and the Posthumanities Hub.
