Change in SL prices from January 9, 2017

Storstockholms Lokaltrafik (SL) is revising the ticket prices from January 9, 2017. And just like a new year gift, now students have an option of getting a student discount on all the tickets. So now it makes sense to buy daily tickets as well if you’re not traveling very frequently on the metro!! Previously this was only for 30 or 90-day tickets! Here’s the revised price list as mentioned on SL website.

Single tickets

Valid for unlimited travel for 75 minutes. You must have started the last trip before it went 75 minutes.

  • Bought with traveling funds: SEK 30 for adults, SEK 20 for student, senior citizen, youth
  • Bought with mobile, the latch / automatic, at any agent or as a lump Card: 43 SEK for adults, 29 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • Bought in cash at the conductor: 60 SEK for adults, 40 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth

Single tickets Arlanda

  • Passage-ticket Arlanda + SL-trip: 150 SEK for adults, 140 SEK for student, senior citizen,  youth
  • Only the passage ticket Arlanda (if you already have an SL ticket): 120 SEK for adults, 120 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth over 18 years. Youth less than 18 years pay no passage fee.

Season tickets

The validity of season ticket starts from the first time you travel on the ticket, you have to activate it, ie start validity, by putting it on the Blue card reader bus, metro station or with the conductor in tram

  • 24 hours: 120 SEK for adults, 80 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • 72 hours: 240 SEK for adults, 160 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • 7 days: 315 SEK for adults, 210 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • 30 days: 830 SEK for adults, 550 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • 90 days: 2420 SEK for adults, 1600 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth (This increased)
  • 365 days 8720 SEK for adults, 5840 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
  • 30 days including Arlanda passage: 1130 SEK for adults, 850 SEK for student, senior citizen, youth
