Ursprunget till detta \u00e4r att rektor under f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret gav ett uppdrag till vicerektorerna f\u00f6r utbildning och digitalisering att samordna en kartl\u00e4ggning kring framtidens l\u00e4rande och l\u00e4rmilj\u00f6er.<\/p>\n<h3>Teknikutveckling och komplexa samh\u00e4llsutmaningar i grunden<\/h3>\n<p>Bakgrunden \u00e4r att KTH, f\u00f6r att forts\u00e4tta vara ett ledande universitet, beh\u00f6ver st\u00e4rka och vidareutveckla sin utbildning f\u00f6r att m\u00f6ta utmaningar som bland annat har att g\u00f6ra med att den tekniska utvecklingstakten och den \u00f6kande komplexiteten i de samh\u00e4llsutmaningar som beh\u00f6ver l\u00f6sas. M\u00e5nga utmaningar kr\u00e4ver tv\u00e4rvetenskaplig kunskap och kompetens och digitaliseringen med nya tekniker ger m\u00f6jligheter att bedriva utbildningen med nya arbetss\u00e4tt. Detta arbete har och \u00e4r jag v\u00e4ldigt involverad i, eftersom jag sedan juli 2019 \u00e4r en av utbildningsn\u00e4mndens ledam\u00f6ter. Utbildningsn\u00e4mnden, som \u00e4r KTH:s organ f\u00f6r beredning av strategiska utbildningsfr\u00e5gor blev en naturlig bas f\u00f6r arbetet med Framtidens utbildning.<\/p>\n<h3>Ett ramverk f\u00f6r hela KTH<\/h3>\n<p>En f\u00f6rsta avrapportering fr\u00e5n utbildningsn\u00e4mnden skedde under sommaren 2021. Arbetet ut\u00f6kades d\u00e5 och har fortg\u00e5tt sedan dess. Nu under VT22 sker ett omfattande f\u00f6rankringsarbete som inneb\u00e4r att ett f\u00f6reslaget ramverk och dess 13 principer diskuteras i flera olika forum (tex skolkollegierna, centrala samverkansgruppen, GU\/UU\/FU, skolornas ledningsgrupper och kvalitetsr\u00e5d), f\u00f6r att ge s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga som m\u00f6jligt tillf\u00e4lle att diskutera hur principer och ramverk kan tolkas och hur formuleringar kan f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttras innan vi p\u00e5b\u00f6rjar f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringsarbetet. Ramverket \u00e4r t\u00e4nkt att ge en riktning f\u00f6r hela KTH:s utveckling, men samtidigt till\u00e5ta autonomi f\u00f6r oss att anpassa oss till v\u00e5ra f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttningar.<\/p>\n<h3>L\u00e4rartr\u00e4ffar v\u00e4lkomnas<\/h3>\n<p>Under f\u00f6rankringsprocessen har ITM:s ledningsgrupp, kvalitetsr\u00e5d samt PA och studierektorer haft m\u00f6jlighet att f\u00e5 veta mer samt diskutera ramverket och principerna. Dock skulle jag som GA g\u00e4rna delta i varje institutions l\u00e4rartr\u00e4ff (om ni har n\u00e5gon inbokad i n\u00e4rtid, h\u00f6r av er). ITM har m\u00e5nga goda exempel p\u00e5 relevant och h\u00f6gkvalitativ undervisning och m\u00e5nga engagerade l\u00e4rare, studenter och administrativ personal vars kunskap beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra v\u00e5ra utbildningar \u00e4nnu b\u00e4ttre. Vi kan st\u00f6dja rektor i m\u00e5let att:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201dLagom till KTH:s 200-\u00e5rsjubileum 2027 kommer detta rej\u00e4la omtag m\u00e4rkas i sin helhet f\u00f6r de studenter, l\u00e4rare, forskare och \u00e4ven administrat\u00f6rer som d\u00e5 trampar runt p\u00e5 v\u00e5ra campus. Redan nu tar KTH olika steg p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar kommer genomf\u00f6ras successivt.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\/Anna Jerbrant, vice skolchef och grundutbildningsansvarig p\u00e5 ITM-skolan<\/p>\n<h2>Focusing on Future Education<\/h2>\n<p>President Sigbritt Karlsson&#8217;s latest blog titled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kth.se\/blogs\/president\/2022\/04\/kths-holistic-approach-to-future-education\/\">&#8220;KTH&#8217;s holistic approach to future education&#8221;<\/a> focuses on the importance of, and need for, continuous development of our education. In the blog, she talks about &#8220;Future Education&#8221; \u2013 a framework that KTH has been working on for a year, regarding how to develop our education that KTH. 13 guiding principles will take education to the next level. The origin of this is that last year Sigbritt gave an assignment to the Vice Presidents for Education and Digitization to map future learning and learning environments.<\/p>\n<h3>Underlying technology development and complex societal challenges<\/h3>\n<p>The background is that KTH, to continue to be a leading university, needs to strengthen and further develop its education to meet challenges that have to do with the technological development pace and the increasing complexity of societal challenges. Many challenges require interdisciplinary knowledge and competence, and digitization provides opportunities to conduct education with new working methods. I&#8217;m very involved in this work since I have been a member of the board of education since July 2019. The Board of Education, which is KTH&#8217;s body for preparing strategic educational issues, became a natural basis for the work with Future Education.<\/p>\n<h3>A framework for the entire KTH<\/h3>\n<p>The first report from the Board of Education occurred during the summer of 2021. The work was then expanded and has continued since then. Now during spring 2022, extensive anchoring work takes place, which means that a proposed framework and its 13 principles are discussed in several different forums (School assemblies, Central collaboration group, Directors of First- and Second-cycle Education \/ Contract education \/Directors of Third-cycle Education, Schools&#8217; Management Groups and Quality Councils), to give as many as possible the opportunity to discuss how principles and frameworks can be interpreted and how formulations can be improved before we begin the work of change. The framework is intended to provide a direction for the entire development of KTH, but at the same time allow autonomy for us to adapt to our conditions.<\/p>\n<h3>Teacher meetings are welcome<\/h3>\n<p>During the anchoring process, ITM&#8217;s Management Team, Quality Council, Programme Managers and Directors of Study have had the opportunity to learn more and discuss the framework and principles. However, as the Director of First- and Second-cycle Education, I would like to participate in each department&#8217;s teacher conference (if you have one booked soon, get in touch). ITM has many good examples of relevant and high-quality teaching and committed teachers, students, and administrative staff whose knowledge is needed to improve our education. We can support the President in the goal of:<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Fittingly in time to mark the bicentenary<\/em><em> of KTH in 2027, this substantial revamp as a whole will be very apparent to students, teachers, researchers and even administration staff as they make their way around our campuses.
