Det definitiva beskedet om detta v\u00e4ntas komma inom kort fr\u00e5n rektorn, och efter det kommer vi ha en tydligare bild \u00f6ver vad vi beh\u00f6ver g\u00f6ra p\u00e5 kort sikt. Gissningsvis kommer vi beh\u00f6va fokusera v\u00e5r programutveckling p\u00e5 detta under v\u00e5ren, s\u00e5 att vi kan genomf\u00f6ra riktade f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar i kursutbud och studieplaner under n\u00e4sta h\u00f6st f\u00f6r att m\u00f6ta de nya krav vi f\u00e5r p\u00e5 oss.<\/p>\n<p>Samtidigt forts\u00e4tter vi v\u00e5r egen genomlysning av ITM:s utbildningsportf\u00f6lj, d\u00e4r vi \u00e4r framme vid att definiera konsekvenserna av de principer vi fick ner p\u00e5 pr\u00e4nt i oktober. Jag hoppas vi kan dela med oss av detta under januari. F\u00f6rhoppningsvis kan vi h\u00f6ja blicken lite fr\u00e5n hanteringen av kortsiktiga f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar, s\u00e5 vi inte bara reagerar utan r\u00f6r oss fram\u00e5t strategiskt.<\/p>\n<p>Ja, ni m\u00e4rker, det \u00e4r en hel del att hantera (gemensamt) nu.<\/p>\n<p>Sist, men inte minst, s\u00e5 f\u00f6r de som inte vet det s\u00e5 har Sandra Tibbelin blivit utsedd till Vice GA med ansvar f\u00f6r l\u00e4rarutbildningarna. Jag v\u00e4lkomnar henne in i rollen, som bara kommer bli \u00e4n mer relevant nu n\u00e4r diskussioner p\u00e5g\u00e5r med Stockholms universitet om hur vi kan arbeta tillsammans runt dessa utbildningar.<\/p>\n<p>\/Fredrik Asplund, Grundutbildningsansvarig p\u00e5 ITM-skolan<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"editor-h2\">Change on the horizon \u2013 what do KTH&#8217;s new principles mean for us?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"paragraph\">Autumn brings change, both literally and figuratively.<\/p>\n<p>The clarification of KTH\u2019s principles for the education portfolio was finalised in September, and since then there has been intense discussion about what this actually means for the different schools. A definitive decision from the President is expected shortly, and after that we will have a clearer picture of what needs to be done in the short term. Most likely, we will need to focus our programme development on this during the spring, so that we can implement targeted changes in course offerings and study plans next autumn to meet the new requirements.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we are continuing our own review of ITM\u2019s education portfolio, where we have now reached the stage of defining the consequences of the principles we documented in October. I hope we can share this in January. Hopefully, we can raise our perspective beyond managing short-term changes, so that we are not just reacting but moving forward strategically.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, there is quite a lot to handle together right now.<\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, for those who may not know, Sandra Tibbelin has been appointed Vice GA with responsibility for teacher education programmes.
