Och s\u00e5 en ny dator som kr\u00e4vde ett l\u00f6senordsbyte\u00a0som i sin tur\u00a0ledde till en\u00a0(mycket stressig) arbetsdag utan\u00a0internet,\u00a0mejl\u00a0eller\u00a0m\u00f6jlighet att logga in p\u00e5 KTH.\u00a0Det \u00e4r inte f\u00f6rr\u00e4n tekniken fallerar som man uppskattar att den vanligtvis fungerar. Som med det mesta s\u00e5 tar man den f\u00f6r givet.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nu\u00a0\u00e4r tekniken\u00a0ig\u00e5ng\u00a0igen och\u00a0jag\u00a0kan presentera mig. Jag heter Sandra\u00a0Tibbelin\u00a0och \u00e4r nytilltr\u00e4dd vice Grundutbildningsansvarig\u00a0med ansvar f\u00f6r l\u00e4rarutbildningarna.\u00a0Det \u00e4r mycket som h\u00e4nder omkring l\u00e4rarutbildningarna i Sverige just nu.\u00a0I december kom regeringens beslut om en reformering av l\u00e4rarutbildningen med sk\u00e4rpta antagningskrav och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar av inneh\u00e5llet.\u00a0Men\u00a0\u00e4ven beslut om att f\u00f6rs\u00f6ksverksamheten med kompletterande pedagogisk utbildning f\u00f6rl\u00e4ngs\u00a0fram\u00a0till januari 2032.\u00a0Parallellt med detta p\u00e5g\u00e5r diskussioner med\u00a0Stockholms Universitet\u00a0om\u00a0hur samarbetet kring v\u00e5ra l\u00e4rarutbildningar ska utvecklas i framtiden.\u00a0Detta arbete forts\u00e4tter under v\u00e5ren, och d\u00e5 k\u00e4nns det bra att ha regeringsbesluten p\u00e5 plats s\u00e5 vi vet vad vi har att f\u00f6rh\u00e5lla oss till.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Det \u00e4r f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar p\u00e5 g\u00e5ng p\u00e5 flera olika fronter samtidigt.\u00a0Det \u00e4r allts\u00e5 ingen som vet exakt hur l\u00e4rarutbildningarna kommer att se ut om n\u00e5gra \u00e5r. Men vi vet att de\u00a0\u00e4r viktiga. P\u00e5 KTH utbildar vi framtidens teknikl\u00e4rare. Och de beh\u00f6vs\u00a0ute i skolorna. De beh\u00f6vs f\u00f6r att l\u00e4ra\u00a0morgondagens\u00a0ungdomar om all den teknik som omger oss i vardagen. Den\u00a0som\u00a0vi\u00a0tar f\u00f6r givet och\u00a0inte\u00a0t\u00e4nker p\u00e5 att den finns. Som vi inte\u00a0uppskattar f\u00f6rr\u00e4n den slutar att fungera.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\/Sandra Tibbelin, Vice grundutbildningsansvarig p\u00e5 ITM<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"editor-h2\">When technology falters, we see its true value<\/h2>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Last week I experienced something of a perfect storm \u2013 in\u00a0more ways than one. Outside, the snow chaos brought cancelled trains, delayed buses and less\u00a0than\u00a0ideal snow clearance. And then my new computer demanded a password change which, in turn, led to\u00a0a very stressful\u00a0working day without internet, email or any way of logging in to KTH.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0only when technology fails that you\u00a0truly appreciate\u00a0how smoothly it normally works. Like so many things, we tend to take it for granted.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Now that everything is up and running again, I can finally introduce myself. My name is Sandra\u00a0Tibbelin, and I am the newly appointed Deputy Director of First and Second Cycle Education, with responsibility for teacher\u00a0education\u00a0programmes. A great deal is happening around teacher education in Sweden\u00a0at the moment. In December, the government announced its decision to reform teacher education, including stricter admission requirements and changes to\u00a0programme\u00a0content. They also decided to extend the pilot scheme for the supplementary teacher\u00a0education\u00a0programme\u00a0until January 2032.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In parallel, discussions are underway with Stockholm University about how our collaboration on the teacher\u00a0education\u00a0programmes\u00a0should evolve in the future. This work will continue throughout the spring, and it feels reassuring to have the government decisions in\u00a0place\u00a0so we know what we must relate to going forward.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Changes are happening on several fronts at the same time. No one, therefore, knows exactly what teacher education will look like a few years from now. But we do know that it matters. At KTH, we educate the technology teachers of the future. And they are needed in our schools. They are needed to teach tomorrow\u2019s young people about all the technology that surrounds us in our everyday lives \u2013 the technology we take for granted and hardly notice until it stops working.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\/Sandra Tibbelin, Deputy Head of First and Second Cycle Education at ITM<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In English further down.
