Halveringstiden f\u00f6r kunskaperna \u00e4r 3-5 \u00e5r<\/h2>\n

F\u00f6r ett \u00e5r sedan initierade utbildningsn\u00e4mnden (UN) en utredning med sikte att formulera former och villkor f\u00f6r framtidens utbildning p\u00e5 KTH. Tidshorisonten \u00e4r tio \u00e5r och fokus ligger p\u00e5 f\u00f6r\u00e4ndringar som kr\u00e4vs f\u00f6r att KTH ska f\u00f6rbli en h\u00f6gaktuell utbildningsakt\u00f6r. Som vicerektor f\u00f6r utbildning betonar i sin blogg s\u00e5 g\u00e5r den tekniska utvecklingen allt fortare. Just nu befinner vi oss i ett skede med exempelvis markant \u00f6kad digitalisering, artificiell intelligens och elektrifiering. P\u00e5 1990-talet ans\u00e5gs halveringstiden p\u00e5 kunskaperna fr\u00e5n en ingenj\u00f6rsutbildning vara runt 30 \u00e5r. Idag r\u00e4knar man med att den \u00e4r 3-5 \u00e5r. I b\u00f6rjan av januari 2021 initierade KTH:s utbildningsn\u00e4mnd en utredning fokuserad p\u00e5 Framtidens Utbildning och som en viktig del av arbetet kommunicerar vice-rektor Leif Kari kring allt som framkommer p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ut\u00f6ver det kommer Leif Kari och flera av UN:s ledarm\u00f6ter ber\u00e4tta mer om arbetet med Framtidens utbildning p\u00e5 kommande Stortr\u00e4ff den 30\/11. Stortr\u00e4ffen \u00e4r en arena f\u00f6r diskussioner, erfarenhetsutbyten och utveckling d\u00e4r alla p\u00e5 KTH \u00e4r v\u00e4lkomna. 🙂HT-21 \u00e4r tr\u00e4ffen p\u00e5 plats i \u00c5ngdomen i biblioteket med ett begr\u00e4nsat antal platser, och delar av tr\u00e4ffen kommer man \u00e4ven att kunna delta i via Zoom.<\/p>\n

\"Content<\/a>\u00c4nda sedan v\u00e5ren 2020 d\u00e5 covid-19-pandemin slog till med full kraft har vi l\u00e4rt oss vilken styrka, f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga och kreativitet hela organisationen kan uppbringa n\u00e4r s\u00e5 kr\u00e4vs. Men samtidigt s\u00e5 m\u00e5ste det mer l\u00e5ngsiktiga utvecklingsarbetet mot \u00f6kad digitalisering ske p\u00e5 ett mer h\u00e5llbart s\u00e4tt och med utvecklade st\u00f6dfunktioner. P\u00e5 ITM-skolan har vi kommit en bit p\u00e5 v\u00e4gen och har dels sedan HT20 haft en grupp amanuenser (E-learning-gruppen) som st\u00f6djer oss l\u00e4rare i till\u00e4mpningen av v\u00e5ra verktyg f\u00f6r digital examination (DE), och dessutom har v\u00e5ra tentasamordnare varit med och utvecklat de administrativa processerna f\u00f6r DE. Nu till VT22 kommer vi ocks\u00e5 satsa p\u00e5 att utrusta varje institution med ett antal hybrid-undervisningsv\u00e4skor som inneh\u00e5ller en r\u00f6rlig konferenskamera, en h\u00f6gtalarpuck samt stativ och hubb. Du kan boka en hybridundervisningsv\u00e4ska via din SR eller h\u00e4mta en p\u00e5 ITM:s expeditioner och servicecenter.<\/p>\n

Ut\u00f6ver detta hoppas jag att du har f\u00e5tt information om KTH:s program \u201dFramtidens ledare f\u00f6r strategisk utbildningsutveckling\u201d. Nu n\u00e4rmar sig den \u00e5rliga kontinuerliga uppf\u00f6ljningen, d\u00e5 alla skolans programansvariga l\u00e4mnar in sina programanalyser. Alla resultat fr\u00e5n dessa kommer sedan kommuniceras och analyseras \u00e4ven p\u00e5 skolniv\u00e5. Ett av de allra viktigaste underlagen f\u00f6r programanalyserna \u00e4r v\u00e5ra kursutv\u00e4rderingar och kursanalyser, s\u00e5 d\u00e4rf\u00f6r m\u00e5ste vi alla nu se till att v\u00e5ra kursanalyser fr\u00e5n f\u00f6rra l\u00e4s\u00e5ret \u00e4r slutf\u00f6rda och publicerade. 🙂<\/p>\n

\"Adventsljus\"<\/a>S\u00e5 h\u00e4r mitt i terminen \u00e4r dagarna fyllda av undervisning och forskningsverksamhet samtidigt som dagarna blir kortare och kortare. Men som tur \u00e4r n\u00e4rmar sig adventstiden vilket g\u00f6r att vi f\u00e5r s\u00e4tta upp adventsbelysning och julpynt. Det \u00e4r i alla fall n\u00e5got jag njuter mycket av. 🙂<\/p>\n

The half-life of knowledge is 3-5 years<\/h2>\n

A year ago, the Board of Education (UN) initiated an investigation to formulate forms and conditions for future education at KTH. The time horizon is ten years, focusing on changes needed for KTH to remain an attractive education actor. As the vice president for education emphasizes in his blog, technical development goes faster and faster. Right now, we have significantly increased digitization, artificial intelligence and electrification, for instance. In the 1990s, the half-life of knowledge from an engineering education was considered around 30 years. Today it is estimated to be 3-5 years. At the beginning of January 2021, KTH’s Board of Education initiated an investigation focused on the Education of the Future. As a vital part of the work, Vice President Leif Kari communicates about everything that comes up along the way.<\/p>\n

In addition, Leif Kari and several UN representatives will tell more about the work with the Education of the Future at the upcoming Stortr\u00e4ff on November 30. Stortr\u00e4ff is an arena for discussions, exchanges of experience and development where everyone at KTH is welcome. 🙂Autumn-21, the meeting is on-site in \u00c5ngdomen in the library with limited seats, and you can join parts of the meeting via Zoom.<\/p>\n

\"Content<\/a>Ever since the spring of 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck with full force, we have learned what the entire organization can acquire with strength, ability and creativity when there is no alternative. At the same time, the long-term development towards increased digitization must be more sustainable and with developed support functions. At the ITM School, we have reached far. Since autumn 20 have had a group of assistants (the E-learning group), who support us teachers in applying our tools for digital examination (DE). Also, our exam coordinators have been involved and developed the administrative processes for DE. For spring 22, we will also invest in equipping each department with several hybrid teaching bags that contain a portable conference camera, a speaker puck and a tripod and hub. You can book a hybrid teaching bag via your SR or pick one at ITM’s expeditions and service centre.<\/p>\n

In addition, I hope that you have been informed about KTH’s program, “The future leader for strategic educational development”. The program will run in 2022. As a participant, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your expertise and contribute to and drive the development of KTH’s education and pedagogical culture.<\/p>\n

The annual continuous follow-up is approaching when all the school’s program directors submit their program analyzes. All results from these will then be communicated and also analyzed at a school level. Essential documents for the program analyzes are our course evaluations and course analyzes, so all of us must ensure that our course analyzes from the previous academic year are completed and published. 🙂<\/p>\n

\"Adventsljus\"<\/a>Now, in the middle of the semester, our days are filled with teaching and research activities at the same time as the daylight hours are decreasing. But luckily, the advent season is approaching, which means that we can set up Advent lighting and Christmas decorations. In any case, it’s something I enjoy a lot. 🙂<\/p>\n
