Det p\u00e5verkar v\u00e5ra m\u00f6jligheter att utf\u00f6ra v\u00e5rt arbete p\u00e5 ett \u201dnormalt\u201d s\u00e4tt. Det viktigaste nu \u00e4r att h\u00e5lla oss uppdaterade om situationen och sedan tillsammans med din n\u00e4rmaste chef planera arbetsaktiviteterna. Jag vill p\u00e5minna om att den senaste informationen om covid-19 presenteras p\u00e5 denna l\u00e4nk:<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"block link\" lang=\"sv-SE\" href=\"https:\/\/intra.kth.se\/campus\/sakerhet\/kris\/corona\" data-cid=\"1.977079\">Information fr\u00e5n KTH g\u00e4llande covid-19<\/a><\/p>\n<p>ITM:s ledningsgrupp har startat \u00e5ret med ett digitalt m\u00f6te f\u00f6r att planera \u00e5rets aktiviteter. Vi f\u00f6ljer \u201dKTH:s \u00e5rshjul\u201d, som har olika aktiviteter inplanerade under \u00e5ret. P\u00e5 m\u00f6tet fokuserade vi p\u00e5 hur vi s\u00e4tter deadlines och v\u00e4ljer ansvariga personer f\u00f6r olika aktiviteter som beh\u00f6ver genomf\u00f6ras under 2022 enligt den aktivitetsplan som vi f\u00e5r av rektor Sigbritt Karlsson. Bland de m\u00e5nga \u00a0h\u00e5llpunkterna i denna vill jag n\u00e4mna n\u00e5gra. Som ni vet har resultaten fr\u00e5n RAE-utv\u00e4rderingen l\u00e4mnats till institutionerna. Utifr\u00e5n denna information f\u00e5r varje institution i uppdrag att g\u00f6ra en plan f\u00f6r den framtida forskningsverksamheten. Planen ska l\u00e4mnas in till rektor senast den 30 september. Dessutom har vi inom utbildningsomr\u00e5det f\u00e5tt i uppdrag att vidareutveckla \u201dlivsl\u00e5ngt l\u00e4rande\u201d samt forts\u00e4tta arbetet med att implementera digitala l\u00e4randeaktiviteter som en del i v\u00e5ra kurser.<\/p>\n<p>Jag vill ocks\u00e5 n\u00e4mna att vi under 2022 givetvis kommer att arbeta vidare med genusaspekter. H\u00e4r vill jag tacka Annika Borgenstam f\u00f6r hennes ambiti\u00f6sa arbete under de senaste \u00e5ren d\u00e4r hon lett arbetet med att skapa lokala och ITM-\u00f6vergripande grupper f\u00f6r att arbeta med dessa aspekter. Jag vill \u00e4ven v\u00e4lkomna nya JMLA \u2013 Martin Edin Grimheden \u2013 som kommer att forts\u00e4tta detta arbete under 2022. Ni kommer att h\u00f6ra mer fr\u00e5n honom och hans ambitioner fram\u00f6ver.<\/p>\n<p>Till sist hoppas jag att m\u00e5nga av er fick upplevda norrskenet Aurora Borealis f\u00f6r ett par dagar sedan. Detta \u00e4r v\u00e4ldigt ovanligt h\u00e4r i Stockholmsregionen. Kan det vara ett tecken p\u00e5 att en ljusare framtid \u00e4r p\u00e5 v\u00e4g? Under de \u00e5r jag bodde i Lule\u00e5 upplevde jag detta fantastiska fenomen m\u00e5nga g\u00e5nger. Det \u00e4r en hisnande sak att se ljusen och att h\u00f6ra bruset fr\u00e5n gnistorna. This has and is influencing our possibilities to carry out our work in a \u201cnormal\u201d manner. However, the most important thing in a situation like this is to keep ourselves updated on the situation and then together with your closest manager plan the work activities. I want to remind you that the latest covid-19 information is presented on this link:<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"block link\" lang=\"en-GB\" href=\"https:\/\/intra.kth.se\/en\/campus\/sakerhet\/kris\/corona\" data-cid=\"1.977092\">Information from KTH regarding COVID-19<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The ITM Management Group has started the year with a digital meeting to plan for activities that will occur during the year. Here, we follow the \u201cKTH \u00e5rshjul\u201d, which shows that different activities will take place during different times of the year. This particular meeting focused on how we can set deadlines and select responsible people for different activities that we need to carry out during 2022 according to the Activity Plan which we receive from President Sigbritt Karlsson. Among the many activities, I wish to mention a few. As you know, the RAE evaluation results have been given to the departments. Based on this information, each department is given the task to make a plan for future research activities. This needs to be handed to the President by September 30. In addition, within the education area, we have been given the task to further develop \u201clife-long learning&#8221; activities as well as continue the work to implement digital learning activities as part of our courses.<\/p>\n<p>I also want to mention that during 2022 we will, of course, continue to work on gender aspects. Here, I wish to thank Annika Borgenstam for her very active work during the last years where she has led the development of creating local ITM groups to work with these aspects. I also wish to welcome the new JMLA Martin Edin Grimheden, who will continue this work in 2022. You will soon hear more from him regarding his ambitions.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, I hope that some of you experienced the northern lights, Aurora Borealis, a couple of days ago. This is very unusual here in the Stockholm region, which may be a sign that a brighter future is coming? However, when I lived in the northern town Lule\u00e5 I experienced this fantastic phenomenon many times. It is a breathtaking thing to see the lights and to hear the noise from the sparks.
